HECK-PACK ARTEMIS GAME HOIST AND COMPONENTS

Choose the required game-hoist set or replacement component. Adapter plates, ground sockets and gambrels are available separately; these component options do not include a complete hoist.

Hunters have a great responsibility to place venison from harvested game on the market as wholesome food. Suspended field dressing with the head facing down is the best way to protect the valuable cuts of venison from contamination. If you wish to field dress your game in the hunting ground, this is generally done while it is lying on the ground. Observing the rules of venison hygiene is not always easy in this situation, especially with gut shots or larger animals.
Heck-Pack developed the Artemis in response to requests for a stable, functional game hoist.

Stability of the construction:
The developed construction is made of ST37 Thyssen-Krupp steel and is fully hot-dip galvanised to the highest quality as corrosion protection. The wall thicknesses of relevant components are dimensioned twice as thick as those of competitors' products in order to meet the high demands of hunting. This also explains the higher unladen weight of the game hoist. During the development phase, the game hoist was tested by several experienced hunters and proved its potential. Even animals weighing more than 150 kg could be hung and dressed on the “Artemis” game hoist without problems or effort. The construction is inserted into the guide adapter attached to the rear carrier and transfers the force to the ground. The guide adapter is mounted between the game carrier and the one-hand lever quick-release fastener, and can also be retrofitted to an existing game carrier. The winch with strap guide is mounted on the game hoist in such a way that no further work is required to put the game hoist into operation after assembly. The strap guide has been designed so that the strap runs as smoothly as possible, with little effort and low friction. The low effort required for cranking is an advantage, especially with heavy animals. The low friction resistance also increases the service life of the strap.
Use:
Thanks to plug-in connections, the Artemis can be assembled in the hunting ground without tools in under one minute and dismantled just as quickly. Various stops are provided on the boom, offering the hunter adjustment options to determine whether the game is to be dressed in front of or above the game carrier (game tub).
